On this day in history: February 27, 1977 - Rolling Stone Keith Richards arrested in Toronto with his girlfriend Anita Pallenberg for possession of heroin. Found guilty at trial over one year later, he manages to get off with a suspended sentence plus benefit concerts for the blind.

Born on this day in history: February 27, 1902 - John Steinbeck (1902 - 1968) novelist. He aroused widespread sympathy for the plight of migratory farm workers in "The Grapes of Wrath," 1939; won Nobel Prize, 1962.

The sun is shining, the sky is blue, the clouds are white, and the birds are singing!

Mr. Nitro's outside temperature display indicated that the temperature at 7:30 AM was 41 degrees. The temperature display inside my office indicated 56 degrees. Obviously, all the computers and other electronic equipment produce a good deal of heat. This building is not particularly well insulated.
