Stupid Criminals

Stupid Criminals - I have a routine I follow each weekday morning: I slither from bed prior to my Droid X alarm sounding. The alarm is set for 5:30 AM. I travel to the dining room and put out the daily vitamins that Laura and I take. I take mine and place hers in a travel container so that she can take them later in the morning. At 5:30 AM, I turn the LCD HDTV on the dining room table to the local news—switching from HDMI to the RCA digital antenna. I turn the display toward the recumbent cycle and watch the news while I ride.

This morning, I chortled upon viewing the story of a bumbling want-to-be burglar's attempt to break into a liquor store in Redding, CA—approximately 50 miles north of here. Imagine my surprise when I saw the story and surveillance video spotlighted in the national news while perusing Pulse on my ASUS Google Nexus 7!

Robbery Suspect Trips Alarm, Then Trips Himself
The video depicts a 5’11, 350LB man dressed in sweatpants attempting to rob a small liquor store by throwing a brick at the window. Unfortunately, the window did not break but rather, set off the alarm. The dude freaks out, runs away and trips over the parking block. And he is still on the run!

That will do it for now! I made the mistake of watching the video again and must now rest and regain my composure!
