Born on this day in history: December 15, 1914 - Don Johnson (1949 - ) Born in Flat Creek, Missouri, Don Johnson gained national attention as the 20-year-old star of The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart. He later received critical and popular acclaim with cult favorite A Boy and His Dog (1975), then achieved TV stardom on the cop series "Miami Vice" (1984), which earned Johnson a Golden Globe Award.
