Born on this day in history: December 13, 1967 - Jamie Foxx (1967 - ) Born in Terrell, Texas, comedian Jamie Foxx got his start in comedy clubs. He then hit it big in TV, getting his own series—"The Jamie Foxx Show"—in 1996. In 2004, he got his big break in film with the biopic Ray, which earned Foxx an Oscar. His music career has also taken off, with his album Unpredictable (2006) landing him several Grammy nominations.
