He was arrested August 11 after a cocaine and heroin binge ending with him assaulting an officer. Slater's credits include made-for-TV movie Living Proof: The Hank Williams Jr. Story.
Born on this day in history: December 9, 1934 - Dame Judi Dench (1934 - ) Born in York, England, actress Judi Dench made her stage debut as Ophelia in Hamlet (1957). She went on to become one of Britain's most distinguished stage, film and TV actresses. Of her many honors, some of her most notable include the title of dame in 1988, her first Tony in 1999, a Golden Globe in 2001, and her second Emmy in 2008.
