Born on this day in history: January 13, 1961 - Julia Louis-Dreyfus (1961 - ) Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus began her career in Chicago's Second City comedy troupe. In 1982, she became the youngest cast member ever on "Saturday Night Live," and stayed for two seasons. Her portrayal of Elaine Benes on the hit sitcom "Seinfeld" landed Julia critical and popular acclaim. She also starred in "The New Adventures of Old Christine" for its 5 season run on CBS.
