Imagine my surprise when I encountered this tattooed pig while driving to my office this morning! Click to enlarge.

Rain! Rain fell yesterday, albeit for an extremely brief period—approximately 5 seconds. The weatherpeople forecast thundershowers. While 5 seconds of light rain does not, in my mind, constitute thundershowers, it does fulfill the predictions to a minor extent. It was sufficient to make Mr. Nitro look very nappy. Before the rain fell, he had a light coat of dust. Following the rain, he looks very much in need of a bath!

This morning, I awakened at 4:30 AM and watched a fairly impressive lightning display. So far, the day is clear, sunny, and warm. Forecasts, however, once again call for thundershowers. We shall see.
