Video of the Day: Living with the Land Greenhouses

This is the greenhouse my brother, Phillip, built. Here is his description:
Pictured is a hand-crafted 12' x 20' greenhouse. Framing is constructed of
heart redwood. Sheathing is polycarbonate. Roof sheathing alternates clear
and translucent panels for enhanced light diffusion. The first 6' of floor
from the door entry is done in pavers to form a sitting area. The remainder
of the floor is pea gravel. Temperature is currently (3-17-09, 1:00 PM) 62
degrees outside and 93 degrees inside. The power vent opens at 96 degrees.
Mist system activates at 98 degrees. Click to enlarge.

I want a greenhouse! The photograph of the greenhouse my brother constructed, and the photographs he sent of pepper plant beginning to blossom, caused me to daydream of a greenhouse. I spoke with Laura concerning this, and she excitedly agreed. We certainly do not require a greenhouse of the epic proportions and exotic construction of my brother's greenhouse. I have been researching available units at Home Depot, and this unit would nicely fit our needs.
