The sun is shining brightly, the sky is blue and clear, and the birds are singing. It was 72 degrees in my office when I arrived here at 7:15 AM—not because of the sunshine, but because I neglected to turn off the heat when I departed yesterday afternoon. Yikes! It was a welcome warmth, however, since the wind this morning—while not particularly strong—is chilly. This should be a beautiful day. Unfortunately, rain is forecast for the weekend. I hope the May flowers enjoy it, since I shall not.
