On this day in history: January 10, 1998 - German psychologist Heidi Fittkau-Garthe was charged in the Canary Islands with a plot of murder-suicide in which 31 cult followers, including five children, were to ingest poison. After the suicides they were to be picked up by spaceship for an unspecified destination.

Yesterday morning was cold! RAMMMMM's windshield was covered with a thick coating of ice! It was forecast that this morning would be colder! Fortunately, however, this morning is warmer, and RAMMMMM's windshield was free of ice! I was, understandably, very pleased.
