Today's blog post is late. I was at Les Schwab Tires. RAMMMMM had a flat tire this morning. Les Schwab sent a service truck to our house, and a service employee inflated the tire. I followed the truck to Les Schwab Tires, where it was determined that the tire could not be repaired, since it was severely weathered. Inspection of the other three tires determined that they are similarly weathered. Although there is a good deal of tread left on RAMMMMM's tires, they are 11 years old and beginning to disintegrate. RAMMMMM is for sale in Auto Trader, and spending $600+ on new tires is certainly not a pleasant circumstance. At the same time, I would certainly not wish to sell RAMMMMM with his old tires, knowing that they are unsafe! Fortunately, Les Schwab Tires is a mere block from my office, so the walk was not unpleasant.
