    Born on this Day in History: November 30, 1955 - Musician Billy Idol was born in Middlesex, England. He joined the punk band Chelsea in 1976 and later left to form Generation X. In 1980 they had a hit U.S. single, "Dancing with Myself." In 1981, Idol launched his solo career in New York City with the release of "Don't Stop." After, he pulled together a new team, which released four successful records together.






    On this Day in History: November 30, 1994 - Rapper Tupac Shakur is shot five times in the chest in what may or may not have been an attempted robbery. He lives but is shot dead in Las Vegas, Nevada later.
