    Born on this Day in History: November 2, 1921 - Charles Bronson was the 11th of 15 children of Lithuanian immigrant parents. As a youth, he worked as a coal miner until he was drafted to serve in World War II. Bronson made his name with roles in The Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape, becoming known for his ‘tough-guy’ characters in such violent thrillers as The Mechanic and Death Wish. After suffering from Alzheimers, he died in 2003.






    On this Day in History: November 2, 1988 - The Internet Worm is released by Cornell grad student Robert Morris. His ingenious program was meant to explore the Internet harmlessly, but due to a bug, it crashed some 6,000 computers.
