Born on this day in history: September 22, 1958 - Andrea Bocelli (1958– ) Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli became blind at the age of 12, and later studied law, but decided on a singing career. His break came in 1992 when star opera singer Luciano Pavarotti recorded with him. International success followed.

The iPhone Dream: Last evening, I had a dream. In the dream, I managed to install Windows 7 on my iPhone. It was wonderful. When I awakened and realized it was merely a dream, I was sad. I enjoyed my iPhone so much that I believe I shall curl up in my chair and take a nap—hoping to return to the dream!
