On this day in history: September 14, 1927 - Legendary dancer Isadora Duncan is killed in Nice, France when her long silk scarf gets tangled in the rear wheel of the convertible she's riding in.

Born on this day in history: September 14, 1879 - Margaret Sanger (1879 - 1966) Born in Corning, New York, birth control pioneer Margaret Sanger was active in the women's labor movement, believing control over childbearing was key to female emancipation. In 1921, she founded the American Birth Control League that became Planned Parenthood. In the 1950s, she helped fund development of a birth control pill.

This morning, it was WET! It rained during the night. This morning, as I drove to my office, the streets were wet, Mr. Nitro was wet, and it was 58°!
