For the first time this year, the heating system at the office did not engage. The inside temperature was already 68 degrees—the temperature at which the thermostat is set! The outside temperature was 59 degrees at that time (7:30 AM). The weatherpeople are still forecasting rain for this weekend—and the water is certainly needed—but this spring-like weather is certainly wonderful.

We took advantage of the excellent weather and grilled last evening. Laura did a spicy dry rub on two thick top sirloin steaks and grilled them perfectly—charred on the outside and rare in the center—along with a red bell pepper. I peeled and baked a large sweet potato. It was a delightful meal.
