I made chili for dinner last evening: I simmered two pork loin chops, minced garlic, sliced white onion, chopped celery, diced Jalapeños, chopped habanero, diced cluster tomatoes, Cajun seasoning, ground black pepper, and ground cayenne pepper in Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. When this had simmered for two hours, I shredded the pork and added two cans of small red beans, reduced the heat to low, and allowed Laura to perform a taste test upon the juice. She declared it delightful. We ate two hours laterfollowing two episodes of "King of Cars"and it was wonderful. Laura scurried off to work this morning with leftovers in tow.
