Born on this day in history: March 23, 1912 - Wernher von Braun (1912 - 1977) engineer. He pioneered all aspects of rocketry and space exploration, first in Germany and, after World War II, in the U.S.

The wind has abated! The fierce wind that has been howling relentlessly for the last few days is gone! The sun is shining brightly, the sky is blue, and the birds are singing. It is a beautiful day. It was 51 degrees outside this morning at 7:15 AM according to Mr. Nitro's temperature probe. It was 67 degrees in my office when I arrived here at 7:20 AM. This is grilling weather!
