Earning the nickname "Little Miss Dynamite," for her big personality and petite frame, she became a worldwide music star by the age of 18. She is now a member of the Rock and Roll, Country Music and Rockabilly halls of fame.

WET! At least it is not cold! It is 40° presently—considerably warmer than the sub-20° weather that has greeted us for the last several mornings. It is, however, wet! A full week of rain is forecast. Without the cryogenic temperatures, we shall have no snow. This is a good thing: Snow is so rare here (generally, snow is seen here only for a day each 10-12 years) that few are able to drive safely in it! Click to enlarge.
