    On this Day in History: April 11, 2006 - Rapper Proof is shot to death at the CCC Club on 8 Mile Road in Detroit, Michigan. He manages to kill Keith Bender Jr. before dying from a gunshot to the head. Proof was a founding member of D-12, a rap supergroup featuring Eminem.






    Born on this Day in History: April 11, 1987 - Joss Stone (1987 - ) Born Joscelyn Eve Stoker in Dover, England, singer Joss Stone is known for throaty vocals, soulful renditions and barefoot performances. At age 16, she released debut album The Soul Sessions which hit both U.K. and U.S. charts. Stone’s follow-up album was an even bigger success.
