    Born on this Day in History: April 4, 1965 - Robert Downey, Jr. (1965 - ) Son of avant-garde filmmaker Robert Downey Sr., actor Robert Downey, Jr. first appeared in films like Weird Science (1985), and gained profile as the flamboyant cocaine addict in Less Than Zero (1987). He went on to star in many critically acclaimed films, including Chaplin (1992) and Sherlock Holmes (2009).
