For dinner last evening, I made an Ahi salad. I filled a large stainless-steel bowl with spring mix assorted greens and topped with sliced red bell pepper, sliced white mushrooms, sliced cucumber, and sliced tomatoes. I pan-seared a large Ahi fillet until it was lightly charred on both sides and beautifully rare in the center. When the Ahi had cooled, I sliced it thinly and arranged the slices atop the salad. I made a dressing of extra-virgin olive oil, rice wine vinegar, lemon pepper, ground black pepper, celery salt, ground ginger, granulated garlic, and lime juice. It was a delightful meal.
