Laura is in Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Red Bluff. She was suffering from anemia and required a blood transfusion. I took her to the hospital yesterday—following an examination by her doctor in Chico. She has a private room with LCD TV and says the food is excellent and the care is first class. She had a transfusion yesterday and shall have another today. Hopefully, I shall be able to bring her home this afternoon. The cats miss her a good deal. I, of course, miss her greatly.
