Here are photographs from Saturday's red beans and rice and baby back ribs dinner. The first photograph is of the base for the red beans and rice, the second photograph is after the red beans and rice have been added to the base, and the third photograph is of the ribs—just prior to removal from the grill. For dinner last evening, I made a delicious salad: I tore a head of red leaf lettuce into a large stainless-steel bowl. I added thinly sliced red onion, yellow squash, and red bell pepper. I cut 15 strips of cooked bacon into 1-inch lengths and scattered over the salad. I sliced 4 hard-boiled eggs and arranged the slices over the salad. I sliced 4 Roma tomatoes and arranged the slices over the salad. It was a wonderful salad.
