    Born on this Day in History: April 5, 1908 - Actress Bette Davis was born Ruth Elizabeth Davis in Lowell, Massachusetts. She started out on Broadway but went to Hollywood in 1930 and became a famous leading lady on the silver screen.






    On this Day in History: April 5, 1951 - Julius and Ethel Rosenberg are sentenced to death for acts of treason, which in this case means giving atomic bomb secrets to the Soviet Union.
