Veterans Day - Today is Veterans Day! Enjoy - Relax and enjoy these images and videos!

The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held each year on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery . The ceremony commences precisely at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans' organizations and remarks from dignitaries. The ceremony is intended to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces.

The Veterans Day National Committee also selects a number of regional sites for Veterans Day observances throughout the country. From stirring parades and ceremonies to military exhibits and tributes to distinguished veterans, these events serve as models for other communities to follow in planning their own observances.

Back Pain: I have suffered from back pain for countless years. The pain is generally kept within reasonable bounds using aspirin and ibuprofen. When I do a photo shoot, however, the pain becomes very nearly unbearable. I traditionally lean against trees and other objects in order to alleviate the pain somewhat.
When I shot the recent homecoming parade, I used a ThermaCare® HeatWrap for the first time and was amazed to find that I suffered no back pain whatever! I used a ThermaCare® HeatWrap when shooting the recent Harvest Festival. Again, there was no back pain encounteredand the shoot lasted several hours! Yesterday, I used a ThermaCare® HeatWrap while shooting the Veterans Day parade. Again, there was no back pain encountered!
I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from back pain! The cost is under $3 eachsold in packages of 2 wraps. They are not reusable.

For dinner last evening, we had a salad (green leaf lettuce, celery, green onions, mushrooms, and cluster tomatoes), toasted garlic bread, and trout fillets. The trout was the star of the meal. It was given us by friend and reader, Frank. I sautéed it lightly in extra-virgin olive oil, seasoned with lemon pepper and dill weed. He caught the troutas witnessed by the photograph below!
