    Born on this Day in History: May 7, 1919 - Eva Perón was born in Los Toldos, Argentina. She moved to Buenos Aires in the 1930s and had some success as a performer. in 1945 she married Juan Perón, who became president of Argentina the following year. Eva Perón used her position as first lady to fight for women's suffrage and improving the lives of the poor, and became a legendary figure in Argentine politics.

    On this Day in History: May 7, 1959 - Small-time boxing promoter Don King is arrested in Cleveland on suspicion of drug dealing. His criminal record includes a 1955 arrest for arson, a 1954 arrest for murder, and others.
