Food and Enjoy

Food - Here are some of our recent meals:

Friday evening, Laura produced one of her famous pizzas. As always, it was delicious!

Saturday evening, Laura made al dente Barilla Thick Spaghetti and served it with a wonderful marinara she created.

Sunday afternoon, Laura put a spicy dry rub on a nice, big hunk of pig and two boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I grilled the pig and chicken and a package of Johnsonville brats.

When the pig had sufficiently given himself over to the flame that a delightful bark formed on him, I swabbed him with Jesse James Barbecue Sauce.

Laura took over the tending of the pig. She turned and swabbed him every 20 minutes. She removed the brats and chicken and stowed them for our lunches. She was unable to contain her lust for the brats and chicken breasts, however, and she plucked morsels from them. The noises produced thereupon quickly made it impossible for me to resist, and Laura gave unto me small tastes of the chicken and brats. I drooled uncontrollably while daydreaming about the lunches that would be produced with these items.

The chicken breasts and brats will serve as lunches for us throughout the week. The pig offered up his charred flesh for our dining pleasure yesterday. I produced a stellar pot of ranch-style beans to accompany the pig to our table. It was a wonderful meal.

Laura obtained a large quantity of habanero peppers and an enormous hunk of ginger.

She will produce a large, incredibly tasty batch of Habanero Ginger Jelly from these items.

Laura bought a huge London Broil.

She will produce from it a large batch of her excellent beef jerky.

Enjoy - Relax and enjoy these images and videos!

It is another chilly morning that promises to become a warm day. It is a very cool 49 degrees at the moment but is forecast to be in the low 80s later today.

Tonight, Laura and I begin Bible college at Harvest Christian Center. We shall attend classes each Wednesday evening and shall earn credits toward a degree in theology. We are excited! Bishop Orvil Tice teaches the classes, under the aegis of Full Gospel Restoration Bible College. Last evening, we considered that it would have been wonderful had we begun this process earlier. We decided that, most likely, we were not ready until now.
