Rain, In the News, and Enjoy

Rain - Rain fell here yesterday! We have had no significant rain since the first week of December!

Unfortunately, it is dry today and there is but a 40% chance of rain. For tomorrow through next weekend, there is no rain in sight!

I am not a cold-weather person, and I have been enjoying the 60s and 70s weather. We desperately need rain, however!

The local rivers, streams, and lakes are seriously in need of water!

Traditionally, this area is a lush recreational wonderland that offers excellent boating, swimming, fishing, and other water-based diversions. There is precious little water remaining in these places now, and the tourism—along with farmers and ranchers, of course—are suffering greatly from the water shortage!
