Born on this Day in History: March 21, 1962 - Rosie O'Donnell (1962 - ) New York actress and comedian Rosie O'Donnell got her start on TV comedy show "Stand-Up Spotlight." She went on to star in films such as A League of Their Own (1992) and Sleepless in Seattle (1993). In 1996, she started hosting "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," which won multiple Emmys. In 2009, she began hosting her own radio show on Sirius XM.

Laura's First Guitar Lesson - I gave Laura her first guitar lesson yesterday. She progressed rapidly and impressively. Here is a recording of her after practicing a basic run. It is not surprising that she shows such promise: Her father was a very gifted pianist, and obviously, she inherited a proclivity for musicianship from him.
