Operation "Wicked Web" - A three-month undercover investigation in Tehama County dubbed "Operation Wicked Web" has culminated with the arrests of 26 people, including one minor. District attorney investigators have been identifying people who use the Internet for criminal activity, specifically narcotics dealers and sexual predators.
Investigators arranged to buy and sell drugs with people they met while chatting online. Authorities also posed as underage children and talked with persons who were interested in having sex with minors. In each case, the persons were identified and subsequently arrested. Bizarre News -

Born on this day in history: March 30, 1968 - Celine Dion (1968 - ) Born in Charlemagne, Canada, singer Celine Dion sent a demo tape at age 12 to manager and producer Rene Angelil, who immediately signed on to manage her career. There was a convention to discuss all of the achievements in science for the past decade. After their meetings, a group of scientists were talking and came to the conclusion that man no longer needs God so they picked one from the group to go tell Him.
The scientist approached God and said, "Listen, we've decided we no longer need you. Nowadays, we can extract stem cells, clone people, transplant hearts, and all kinds of things that were once considered miraculous."
God patiently heard him out, and then said, "All right. To see whether or not you still need me, why don't we have a little man-making contest!"
"Okay, great!" the scientist said.
"Now, we're going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam," God said.
"That's fine," replied the scientist and he bent down to scoop up a handful of dirt.
"Whoa!" God said, shaking his head in disapproval. "Not so fast, pal. You get your own dirt."

Yesterday, my new Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 arrived. FedEx delivered the mouse at 4 PM, so it was too late to toy with it. I had shopping to perform and dinner plans to complete. Today, I shall fully explore this new Bluetooth mouse. It is to be used with my new HP notebook, which is scheduled to arrive today.
Last week, I migrated my main office system and Laura's home desktop system to Microsoft Office 2007. I shall install Office 2007 on the new notebook tomorrow. Office 2007 is a significant advancement from Office 2003, which I had been using. I am still acclimating myself to all the changes, enhancements, and new features. The HP notebook will have Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate. I am eager to explore this new 64-bit operating system.
