Born on this day in history: December 29, 1972 - Jude Law (1972 - ) London actor Jude Law began his career in the theater, where he earned a Tony nod for the Broadway play Indiscretions. After making the transition to film, Law earned critical acclaim in the U.S. for his roles in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), and Cold Mountain (2003).
